About me

I was born in the beautiful and graphic island of Crete, a place steeped in antiquities, mythology, and history–the birthplace of Zeus.   As a child, I was fascinated with mythology and  events that occurred thousands of years ago, always trying to understand how such events related to my life now.  In college I studied literature and linguistics–no surprise there  given my interests– while my graduate work is in counseling.  Later, I lived in England and New England, great places for a language and history aficionado like myself .  A higher education administrator now, I turn to literature to find balance between my work and personal life.
